Frequently Asked Questions . . . . . We have tried to think of the
10 most common questions we are asked about booking a limo. If your question is
not covered please e-mail or telephone us and we will be glad to

1. Reliability is important to us - after all this is a
very special occasion - how can we be sure the Limo will turn up
?
• You are right to ask this question - the majority of
hires we undertake are for special occasions and people can be anxious about
things not going to plan. We also take many calls from customers who have
hired from companies outwith the area who have let them down at the last
minute with double booking or whatever ........ Firstly can we say,
we are a local company who have been in the Limo business for over 6
years now and in all this time and having covered thousands of hires - we can
honestly say we have never let anyone down. Secondly, once a hire is confirmed
with a deposit your business and your occasion is just as special to us
as if it were our own. We always confirm bookings in writing immediately to
give you peace of mind and
to confirm to ourselves that this is a definite booking.
We have systems set up that ensure double booking is never an issue for us. If reliability
is important to you, you must hire from a company you can trust - it may sometimes be
a few pounds more but it may be money well spent

2. Can we stand out of the sun-roof while traveling in the limo
(“Pretty Woman” style) • Not while the limo is in motion, we are
happy to stop and let you have some pictures taken in / around the limo
including standing out of the sun-roof. For health and safety reasons everyone
must remain seated while moving and the sun-roof will remain locked until we
are stopped.
3. What factors should we look for when hiring a limo
? • The first thing to note is that
cheapest is not always best – you will get operators undercutting by £5 / £10
to secure the hire but you may not receive the same quality of vehicle or
standard of service – and since limos are usually hired for special occasions,
this could put a damper on your special event. Always ask if the price is
fully-inclusive or if VAT is still to be added – this can increase your cost
by 17.5% so make sure you clarify this at the start. You should ask if the
limo is a new millennium shape model, will the chauffeur be in uniform and
wearing a hat (all part of the standard you should expect), what’s included
(check if they say champagne that it “really” is champagne. You should also
ask when you can expect to receive written confirmation of your booking, this
should be within a few days and gives you some sort of assurance that you
won’t be let down at the last minute.
4. How much of a deposit do I need to pay ? • For most hires we ask for a 25%
deposit. This can be sent by cheque / postal order or some people come to view
the limo and pay their deposit in cash. The balance can then be paid either on
the day/night of hire in cash or by cheque / postal order a week in advance of
the hire. For weddings we ask that the balance is paid 4 weeks before the
wedding.
5. When does the hire time start and where can we go ? • Your time starts at the agreed pick-up
time. Our limos aim to arrive a few minutes early, to let you know we are
there and to get you in sharpish so as to make the most of your time. The
chauffeur will show you how to operate the CD/DVD/Karaoke and open your wine /
soft-drinks. We prefer to have an idea of where you would like to go before
the actual hire time so that we can plan a route, avoid roadworks etc to make
the most of your time. We can suggest ideas for most areas with stop-off
points fro you to take your photographs.
6. What is the minimum hire duration ? • Minimum is 1 hour and it can then go up
in ½ hour’s from thereon. We recommend 1 ½ -2 hours as the optimum hire
duration. This allows you to go a bit further and allows you to get settled in
and relaxed with plenty of time to enjoy your surroundings before it is time
to be dropped off.
7. Does an adult need to travel with kids parties ? • We prefer that under 10s do have an
adult travelling with them but it really is up to parents to decide. Some
parents follow behind the limo in their own car and some travel with them. We
do insist that children under 16 wear seat-belts at all times and that under
12’s use the pop-up (sports cap) juices to avoid then touching
glassware.
8. What's included in the cost ? • The main thing is
you are hiring a first-class stretch limousine that will be immaculately
valeted with a professional chauffeur in attendance. We also
include a complimentary bottle of good quality Asti-sparkling wine and a selection of soft-drinks. You
may also bring along additional drinks (within reason) at no extra charge. Our limos are presented
with crysal glassware and napkins for your use during the hire.
9. Can we smoke in the limo or bring some party snacks along
? • Sorry but NO to both questions. Firstly
can you imagine what the limo would smell like if we allowed smoking in such a
confined space ! For Health and safety we cannot allow smoking but are happy
to stop off for a smoke break if you feel the need. Similarly for food – our
limos are presented to every hire immaculately clean and fresh smelling – this
would not be possible if food was consumed on board. Again we are happy to
stop off where required.
10. What is your cancellation policy and conditions of hire ? •
The terms and conditions of our hires are detailed in a contract that
is sent out to every hirer for reading and signature.
